This is an interesting article on one of the many sides of African writing, or, maybe, in this case, Indian writing. 

Indians have travelled for many years and decades and centuries to the East Coast of Africa. They travelled. They worked. They settled. They left again. They wrote about it.

  1. MG Vassanji is one of my favourite Canadian (based) writers and I will never forget The In Between World of Vikram Lall. I learned so much about the history of the Indian populations in Tanzania from that wonderful novel!
