Why I chose an African publisher over a western one

There are many writers on the African continent, there is a great longing to get published. Some writers reach the point of publication. But where will an average writer publish his or her book? Or is a writer ‘forced’ to leave the continent and send the manuscript to the United Kingdom, France or the United States or Portugal or Brazil?

In Nigeria, with many writers and even more budding writers there is a publishing house that started a branch in the United Kingdom. One writer, Sarah Ladipo Manyika, tells about her decision to publish with a local House.

Read her thoughts here.
